Announcing Findora’s First Grantee: Lumias

Lumias Findora Grantee

Explore Web3 gaming on an all-in-one platform for gamers and developers with built-in DeFi features.

Findora is proud to announce Lumias in its first round of grantees in 2023. Lumias aims to reshape Web3 gaming by using Findora’s scalability and zk tools to provide a unique, all-in-one gaming platform.

Lumias is a one-stop destination for crypto games and gamers, similar to Steam, but native to Web3. By providing an NFT marketplace and a built-in DEX, it will make trading GameFi tokens and NFTs a breeze. It will also offer an easy way for developers to launch games, making it the perfect place to find the hottest Web3 games and discover hidden gems.

By leveraging Findora’s scalability and zkLedger, Lumias can create a genuinely unique hub for Web3 gamers. For example, through Findora’s zk cryptography, Lumias will be able to better protect the identity and data of its users and partners. Additionally, Findora’s scalable and inexpensive network will give developers the blockspace they need, and auditability will ensure future gaming projects can satisfy compliance regulations.

“We are thrilled to receive the grant from Findora Foundation and join their partner network. We believe that Findora is the ideal blockchain platform for Lumias to expand to, as it aligns with our values and goals for GameFi, and we’re excited to create a better gaming experience for everyone.”

— Luc, Founder of Lumias

“Lumias is a great project, and we’re glad to have them as part of the first round of our grant program. We believe that Web3 needs a place that curates fun games and provides developers with the support they need to integrate surprise into their games.”

— Sam Harrison, Discreet Labs CEO

A Web3-Native Gaming Platform

Whether Web3 gamers want to play, trade, or build, Lumias offers them the tools and resources they need. It’s a platform native to Web3 with DeFi features built-in. Plus, using on-chain encryption enabled by Findora opens up the opportunity for developers to create truly unique and fun games on Lumias.

Lumias plans to launch its platform to mainnet in Q3 of 2023, deploying some in-house games. After the launch of their platform, they will work to attract new users and partners from Web3 and Web2. In the long run, they aim to be a leading GameFi hub known for fostering innovation and collaboration between Web3 gaming projects.

A Shared Vision to Protect Web3 Gamers

Like Findora, Lumias believes that selective transparency will be critical for blockchain platforms in the future.

A sneak-peek at Lumias’ upcoming GameFi platform!

Findora helps Lumias create a GameFi platform that will produce games with the same security and data protections of Web2 but with the tokenomics, gameplay, and ownership models of Web3. Through a zkLedger, Lumias will protect and respect user data and preferences. Gamers in Web3 should not be expected to forfeit more personal information than Web2 players just because they are gaming in a blockchain-based environment.

“We invite all crypto gamers and enthusiasts to join our platform and explore the exciting opportunities that GameFi offers,” says Luc, Lumias’ founder. “We also welcome game developers and projects who want to list their games on our hub or apply for our launchpad. Together with Findora, we aim to make GameFi more accessible, fun, and rewarding for everyone.”
