Validator Spotlights showcase the great teams working to guarantee the security and decentralization of the Findora blockchain. Here are David | Fortune’s responses to some questions from the Findora community.
1) Tell Us About Yourself
UK Based Husband and Wife team. Developer of vStatsBot, a validator monitoring program to help ensure validators maintain the best uptime.
2) What brought you into crypto/web3 in the first place?
Being a web2 developer, web3 intrigued me, and with the Covid crisis, another form of income seemed like a sensible option.
After starting to get involved within the communities of chains we were impressed by, it quickly became a lot more than just money to us and is now a huge part of our lives.
3) What is your experience in validating or web3 in general?
Validating on the Harmony blockchain since Jan 2021, recently expanding onto the Findora chain. Developer of vStatsBot. 90% of Harmony validators are using our vStatsBot tool to help ensure uptime etc. We are in the process of a grant application review with Findora to bring this tool to FRA.
4) What makes your operation unique?
Reliability and communication have always been a priority. With young children, we find ourselves up all hours; the upside to this is we can assist our delegators around the clock. Currently #2 on Harmony based on delegator count, we pride ourselves on this, knowing we are a trusted validator. We want to bring this level of service to Findora. With our vStatsBot we have built and other scripts, we make sure our nodes are always being monitored and automated.
5) Why do you want to validate with Findora?
Findora seemed like the next logical step for our validator expansion. We love what you are doing with the chain and would be honored to be a part of this early on.
6) Where can our community go to learn more about you?
7) How to delegate to David Fortune?
(Inserted by Findora DAO editors) When you go to stake FRA from the Findora Wallet, you can select Fortune — Multi-Chain. You can see their stats on the Findorascan.io dashboard.
Findora builds privacy through advanced zero-knowledge proof cryptography. An innovative layer-1, it combines a native UTXO ledger optimized for privacy with an EVM extension for programmability and interoperability. Developers can leverage either model as they build dApps with auditable privacy.
